Week 9 Injury Report

The Counselor is IN:

Here are the Week 9 fantasy injuries and my commentary.

Cardinals:
QB Kurt Warner
is probable with a left elbow. He had light practice on Monday. He will start on Sunday.

Falcons:
TE Alge Crumpler
is questionable with a knee injury. He missed practice on Wednesday but did some drills on the side.

QB Bryon Leftwich is listed as out for Sunday with an ankle injury.

Ravens:
TE Todd Heap
is questionable with a thigh injury. He was limited in practice on Thursday.

QB Steve McNair is probable with a back injury. He is practicing so he should play on Sunday.

Bills:
QB Trent Edwards
is questionable with a wrist injury. He will not start this week but may be a backup if healthy enough.

RB Marshawn Lynch has a minor hip injury and is probable. He will play and he will run a lot against the Cincinnati 28th ranked run defense. Expect a big game for Lynch.

Panthers:
QB Vinny Testaverde
is questionable with an Achilles' tendon injury. Out of retirement for only a couple of weeks and Vinny is already injured.

QB David Carr has a compression fracture in his lower back and is listed as probable. He practiced all week. He will start on Sunday.

Bears:
Bye Week

Bengals:
RB Rudi Johnson
has a hamstring injury and is questionable for Sunday. He practiced fully on Thursday. He is expected to play this weekend. We will see how much he actually plays. Watson has been playing really well while Rudi has been injured.

RB Kenny Watson is questionable with a concussion but he practiced full out on Thursday. Kenny will play but the amount of time will depend on Rudi's health.

RB Jamal Lewis
is probable with a foot injury. He practiced fully on Wednesday. He is stating that he is 100%.

Cowboys:
No significant fantasy injuries.

WR Javon Walker continues to be out with a knee injury.

Lions:

Packers:
RB DeShawn Wynn
has been placed on the Injured Reserve and is out for the season.

TE Bubba Franks is out with a knee injury. He will not play this week.

Texans:
QB Matt Schuab has a concussion and is questionable. He will be a game time decision.

WR Andre Johnson is questionable with a sprained posterior cruciate ligament in his knee. He stated that the knee is 85% and he might play this week. This is another game time decision.

RB Ahman Green is questionable with knee injury. He was limited in practice on Thursday. He is another player to wait until Sunday to see if he will play.

WR Andre Davis is probable with a chest injury. He will play on Sunday but don't expect much out of Johnson.

Chiefs:
WR Eddie Kennison is probable with a pulled hamstring but practiced fully on Wednesday.

Bye Week

Vikings:
QB Tarvaris Jackson is questionable with a broken finger. He looked good in practice and is expected to play on Sunday. You would be foolish to start Jackson at this time.

RB Chester Taylor has a minor pulled groin and is probable for Sunday. With Peterson, why is Taylor still playing on the Vikings? Taylor should play this weekend.

WR Bobby Wade is questionable with hyper-extended knee. He missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday. It is likely he will not play on Sunday.

RB Reggie Bush is probable with a rib injury. Have no fear, Reggie will play this weekend.

Patriots:

WR Reggie Brown is probable with a neck injury. He practiced fully on Wednesday but was limited on Thursday. He will play against the Cowboys on Sunday.
