Week 7 Fantasy Injuries

The Counselor is IN:

Here are the Week 7 fantasy injuries and my commentary.

Cardinals:
WR Anquan Boldin is probable with a hip injury. He practiced on Wednesday almost to full capacity. He is expected to play this weekend.

QB Matt Leinart has been placed on the Injured Reserve and will be out for the rest of the season.

QB Kurt Warner is questionable with a tear to a ligament to his non-throwing elbow. He is expected to play some on Sunday but may not start.

Falcons:

QB Joey Harrington is probable with an ankle injury. The Falcons have already decided to make a change to Bryon Leftwich at QB. The Falcons are stating that this is a permanent move.

TE Alge Crumpler is questionable with a knee injury. He did not practice on Wednesday or on Thursday. Be cautious with starting Crumpler. He may be a game time decision.

Ravens:
QB Steve McNair is questionable with a stiff back and groin pull. He was absent from practice on Thursday.

WR Derrick Mason is questionable with gastroenteritis. He practiced partially on Wednesday.

TE Todd Heap is questionable with a hamstring. He missed practice on Wednesday.

TE Daniel Wilcox is questionable with a sprang to his toe. He was not at practice during the last two days. This lingering injury may continue to affect Wilcox for a while.

Bills:

QB J. P. Losman is probable with a knee injury. He will be the back up this weekend. The Bills are citing the fact that Losman is not 100% for him not starting. We will see if there is a QB controversy in Buffalo later in the year.

Panthers:
Bye Week

Bears:
WR Bernard Berrian is probable with a toe injury. He played well on last Sunday and appears to be ready to play this weekend.

Bengals:
RB Rudi Johnson has a hamstring injury and is questionable for Sunday. He was held out of practice on Thursday. He is expected to play this weekend. You might want to delay adding him to your line up until we get closer to game time.

RB Chris Perry is out with an ankle injury. He is yet to play this season.

WR Tab Perry is out with a hip injury. He was placed on IR earlier this week which will end his season.

WR Antonio Chatman is questionable with a hamstring injury. He did not practice on Thursday.

WR Chad Johnson is probable with an ankle injury. All signs point to Ocho Cinco starting.

TE Reggie Kelly is questionable with an ankle injury. He did not practice on Wednesday. Reggie is not a top tier fantasy TE but he is the starting TE in a potentially powerful offense.

Browns:
Bye Week

Cowboys:

WR Terry Glenn is out for Sunday's game.

Broncos:

WR Javon Walker is out after knee surgery. He will be out for a few weeks after the "clean out procedure".

Lions:

WR Calvin Johnson is probable with a back injury. He is expected to play this weekend.

RB T.J. Duckett is probable with an ankle injury. He is expected to be active for the game if he can help on special teams.

Packers:
Bye Week

Texans:
RB Ahman Green is probable with a knee injury. He practiced fully on Thursday and is expected to play this Sunday.

WR Andre Johnson is questionable with a sprained posterior cruciate ligament in his knee. He did not practice on Thursday.

Colts:

RB Joseph Addai is probable. He practiced fully on Thursday. He will play this weekend.

WR Marvin Harrison is probable with a knee injury. He practiced on Thursday but only partially.

Jaguars:
No significant fantasy injuries.

Chiefs:
WR Eddie Kennison is out with a hamstring injury.

RB Priest Holmes is questionable. The signs point to Holmes getting some playing time this weekend.

Dolphins:
TE David Martin is probable with an ankle injury. His practice was limited on Wednesday.

QB Trent Green is out with a Concussion. He is still experiencing the effects and thinks he can still play football.

Vikings:
QB Tarvaris Jackson is probable with a groin injury. He practiced on Wednesday on a limited basis and is expected to start on Sunday.

Saints:
K Olindo Mare is questionable with a groin injury. He practiced on Thursday and was green lighted to play on Sunday.

WR Robert Meachem is questionable with a knee injury. He is not progressing quickly.

Patriots:
RB Laurence Maroney is questionable with a groin injury. He practiced on Friday. He will be a game time decision again. This continues to drag on for Maroney. He is expected to play on Sunday.

WR Donte Stallworth is questionable with a knee injury. He was limited in practice on Thursday. He was questionable last week before lighting up Dallas.

TE Ben Watson is questionable with an ankle injury. He did not practice on Thursday.

RB Sammy Morris is out this week. It appears it might be a collarbone and it might take him a while to heal. He was just starting to show his fantasy value.

Giants:
WR Plaxico Burress is questionable with an ankle injury. He was a stud with this injury last weekend and it appears he will play again.

RB Derek Ward is questionable this week with an ankle injury. He practiced in a limited amount on Wednesday.

RB Brandon Jacobs is questionable with an ankle injury. Just when he gets back from injury, then he gets hurt again.

Jets:
QB Chad Pennington is probable with an ankle injury. He was limited in practice on Wednesday. Pennington is the starter this week but if he does not play well, he may be the backup very soon.

WR Lavernanues Coles is probable with a knee injury. He was limited in practice on Wednesday.

Raiders:
QB Josh McCown is questionable with a foot injury. If he can play on Sunday, it will be interesting to see if he starts over Culpepper.

RB Lamont Jordon is probable with a back injury. He played a lot last Sunday while being questionable. Expect Jordon to start.

Eagles:
TE L.J. Smith is questionable with a groin/hernia. He missed practiced on Wednesday and Thursday.

Steelers:
WR Hines Ward is probable with a knee injury. He practiced Thursday with a knee brace. It is an improvement but I would leave Ward on the bench until he shows you he is ready to play like the old Ward.

Chargers:
Bye Week

Seahawks:
WR D.J. Hackett continues to suffer with his ankle injury and is listed as questionable. He is expected to play this weekend. I would see how he plays before starting him.

RB Shaun Alexander is probable with a wrist injury. He has practiced all week. He will play on Sunday.

49ers:

QB Alex Smith is probable with a separated shoulder. He has been practicing in drills and wearing pads. He will be dressed for the game but will not start this weekend.

TE Vernon Davis is questionable with a knee injury. He was limited in practice on Wednesday but is expected to play on Sunday.

Rams:
WR Isaac Bruce is questionable with a hamstring injury. He was limited in practice on Wednesday.

RB Steven Jackson is questionable with a 40 percent tear of the groin muscle. He was limited in practice Wednesday. I would not count on him to play this weekend.

QB Marc Bulger is probable with a rib injury. He should start on Sunday.

WR Torry Holt is probable with a minor knee injury. He did not practice on Wednesday. He is expected to play this weekend.

WR Drew Bennett has a hamstring injury and is questionable for Sunday's game.

Buccaneers:
RB Michael Pittman is out with a severe ankle sprain. After I promoted him last week, he goes down injured. He should be out 4 to 6 weeks.

WR Ike Hillard is probable with injury to his shoulder. He practiced fully on Wednesday.

TE Alex Smith has an ankle injury and is questionable. He did not practice on Wednesday.

Titans:
WR Brandon Jones is out with a sore right knee.

RB Chris Brown is questionable with a sprained left ankle. He did not practice on Thursday.

QB Vince Young is questionable with his right quad. He did not practice on Wednesday.

Redskins:
WR Antwaan Radle El is probable with a pesky hamstring. He should play this weekend but is not better than a 6th wide out.

WR Santana Moss is probable with a groin injury. He practiced fully on Wednesday.

That is all the fantasy injuries for this week.
