Week 4 Fantasy Injuries

The Counselor is IN:

Here are the Week 4 fantasy injuries and my commentary.

Cardinals:
WR Anquan Boldin
is questionable with a hip injury. The Cardinals are hopeful that he will play. I would bench him for this week unless his status gets update to a more positive one.

Falcons:
No significant fantasy injuries.

Ravens:
QB Steve McNair
is probable with a pulled groin. He practiced fully with the team on Wednesday. Steve will play this weekend.

WR Mark Clayton is probable with a toe injury. He is expected to start on Sunday. He only partially practiced on Wednesday.

TE Todd Heap is probable with a concussion. He practiced fully on Wednesday. He does not appear to be having any post concussion symptoms.

Bills:
QB J.P. Losman injured his knee last Sunday. He is questionable for this weekend. He is not worth starting at this point anyway.

Panthers:
QB Jake Delhomme is questionable with a strained throwing elbow. Jake has been really good this year but he may be a game time decision.

Bears:

No significant fantasy injuries.

Bengals:
RB Rudi Johnson
is questionable with a hamstring injury. The news out of Cincinnati is not positive. Bench Rudi unless he is upgraded.

Browns:
TE Kellen Winslow
is questionable with a "mild subluxation" of his left shoulder (partial dislocation). He did not practice on Wednesday. I would leave Kellen on the bench.

Cowboys:
WR Terry Glen
n is out for Sunday's game. He had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and he hopes to play later this season.

Broncos:
QB Jay Cutler is probable with an ankle injury. Cutler will start. He is a good 2nd QB for your starters off week.

WR Javon Walker
is probable with inflammation in his right knee. He sat out of practice on Wednesday. Don't worry about Walker, he will play.

Lions:
RB Kevin Jones is listed as probable with a foot injury. He had three carries on Sunday. He will be getting the ball on a limited basis for now.

RB T.J. Duckett is listed as questionable. It does appear that he will be out 2 to 4 weeks. He has a mild high ankle sprain.

WR Calvin Johnson is questionable with back issue. He was held out of practice on Wednesday. Johnson has had a great rookie season. Keep him on the bench if you can and if not watch this closely.

Packers:

WR Greg Jennings is listed as probable with a hamstring and was limited in practice on Wednesday. Jennings had a great game on Sunday. He will start but there are no guarantees of the kind of weekend he will have.

WR Donald Driver has an injured toe and is probable. Don't worry about he will start and should be in your starting lineup.

TE Bubba Franks is questionable with a knee injury. He did not practice on Wednesday.

Texans:
RB Ron Dayne
is probable with bruised ribs. He may be the man this week with Green fairly injured.

RB Ahman Green
is questionable with a knee injury. He had an MRI on his left knee. It appears he will be kept out of the game this weekend.

WR Andre Johnson
has been red hot this season. Now he is out with a sprained posterior cruciate ligament in his knee. He will be out for a few weeks.

Colts:
TE Dallas Clark is probable with a neck injury. He will play this weekend. He is a must play if you have him.

Jaguars:
Bye Week

Chiefs:

WR Eddie Kennison is out with a hamstring injury. It is possible he will be back in a couple of weeks but hamstrings are tricky injuries.

RB Larry Johnson is Questionable with a hamstring injury. LJ has been off to a slow start with a bad offensive line. This will only make it worse. This injury may nag him all year even if he gets to play this weekend.

Dolphins:

No significant fantasy injuries.

Vikings:
RB Chester Taylor is questionable with bruised oblique muscle. He was at practice on Wednesday but he did not limited in practice. The coaching staff have declared him the starter if he is healthy. Are they not watching the film of Peterson???

QB Tarvaris Jackson is questionable with a groin injury. He partially practiced on Wednesday. He looked great in preseason but is not a fantasy starter yet.

WR Troy Williamson is questionable with a hamstring injury. He practiced partially on Wednesday. He is not worth starting as an off week replacement even when healthy.

Saints:
Off Week

Patriots:
RB Laurence Maroney is probable with a groin injury and limited in practice on Wednesday.
Maroney will play on Sunday.

WR Kelley Washington
is questionable with a hamstring injury. He is the third Patriot Wide Receiver on this list. He is not as likely to play on Sunday. If he plays, he is not likely to be a fantasy presence.

Giants:
RB Brandon Jacobs has a sprained MCL and is out for three to five weeks. He is officially listed as questionable but he will not play.

WR Plaxico Burress is probable with an ankle injury. He did not practice on Wednesday because a specialist was checking out his knee. He has a "severely sprained ankle." He still expected to play.

RB Derrick Ward
is questionable with an ankle injury. He is expected to start since Jacobs is still out.

Jets:
QB Chad Pennington is probable with an ankle injury. He will start this Sunday.

Raiders:
QB Josh McCown
is listed as questionable with a broken big toe. Culpepper is expected to start this weekend.

Eagles:

TE L.J. Smith is listed as OUT after groin surgery. He has been ruled out for Sunday's game.

RB Brian Westbrook
is questionable with a strained knee. He did not practice on Wednesday. He is expected to play on Sunday.

Steelers:

WR Hines Ward is questionable with a knee injury. He had an MRI that showed no tears. That is positive for Ward and the Steelers. There is a real good chance he will not play this weekend.

Chargers:
No significant fantasy injuries.

Seahawks:
RB Shaun Alexander is probable for this weekend. He has a broken bone in his wrist. He will play.

RB Maurice Morris is questionable with a hip injury. He is expected to be backing up Alexander this weekend.

49ers:
TE Vernon Davis is out for the next two weeks with a knee injury. He will not play.

Rams:
TE Randy McMichael is probable with a strained hamstring. He will keep playing through it.

RB Steven Jackson is out with a 40 percent tear of the groin muscle. Ouch! He will be out at least a few weeks.

Buccaneers:
RB Carnell Williams is probable with bruised ribs. He stated last Sunday. His fumbling is costing him carries and is more detrimental than the injury.

WR Joey Galloway
is listed as probable for this week. He rested on Wednesday but he should play on Sunday.

Titans:

Off Week

Redskins:
Off Week

That is all the fantasy injuries for this week.
